Well, oh, really Taylor - how about this?

The cut on his upper lip stung. He could taste the sickly copper in his mouth from the blood. His stance never wavered though, he stood tall against the other boy. His eyes in slits and his focus on doing nothing but messing up that face of his.

Cory’s expression held nothing but pure hatred for the smaller man, his body was rigid and he could feel the anger building up within himself. Kendall was going to get it, plain and simple. Kissing Taylor was the last straw, being with Taylor was the last straw. The lesson was that Taylor was Cory’s and she would remain off limits to the scrum that was before him.

Cory had taken the first punch, which resulted in the cut on Kendall’s top lip. It didn’t phase the blonde, who fought back easily before the two had split apart to catch a breath. Both chests were heaving, both set of eyes were on each other. Cory’s hands were raised into fists, letting him know that he wasn’t messing around. Kendall’s were by his side, showing that he wasn’t afraid to just step in there.

“You best leave her alone,” Cory spat, taking a step toward Kendall. It wasn’t cautious and he meant business. Kendall stood his ground, jerking his chin up.

“I’m going to fight for her,” Kendall retorted, his eyes glowing with anger. Cory didn’t deserve Taylor.

Cory narrowed his eyes, his teeth clenched before he said in that unmistakable voice filled with hatred, “Then fight.” There was a pause before the taller man lunged at him, knocking him down easily. The room wasn’t very big, considering it was filled with weights and exercise machines.

Kendall fought back though, wiggling underneath Cory’s weight. They rolled, punching and kicking. Scratching and even a few bites here and there. Kendall could taste more blood and he saw the red liquid seeping out of Cory’s eyebrow. That fueled his hate even more as he threw a punch to his face.

Mhmm.

It was maybe noon and you normally never slept in that late but it had been such a hard night last night. With the screaming and the fighting, throwing things and cursing in his face. You never got to see him much anymore, it was putting a toll on your relationship. All you wanted was him in your arms for a while, maybe getting ice cream or running around the playground. That’s all you asked for and you hardly ever got it. He was always with the band, practicing and rehearsing. You knew that it was his priority, that it was his love but you were his love too and that’s what you needed at the moment was just a little dose of his love.

The two of you had gone to bed mad at each other, sleeping on opposite sides of the hotel room but you couldn’t take it. You couldn’t take being mad at him and had crawled into his bed sometime around the early morning. He was sleeping soundly with light snores but you snuggled against him and smiled at his warmth, knowing that no matter what had happened you would love him unconditionally as he would with you.

It was noon when you woke up, spotting the dark haired boy there next to you still asleep. He was like an angel, his mouth open just a bit and his snoring only slightly louder. You had to giggle, his face buried within the pillow but his arm was strung around you. He always did that, giving a sense that you were his and he could protect you even in his sleep. That’s what you need. All you needed was the love of Dougie Poynter and his protection.

You placed a kiss on his forehead, slightly warm under the touch of your lips. He stirred, a soft sigh spilling out from his own and you smiled once more. He was so beautiful, sleeping like a baby without a care in the world. He didn’t look as stressed as it had the night before.

and here’s a dougie gif for your pain.

The Heart Never Lies

castielsfabray:

Molli had awoken to a text from her long term boyfriend, Danny Jones.

“Meet me @ the park @ 2? U know the 1. Love u!” She read, shaking her head at his short-hand text. Molli knew exactly which park he was talking about. It was the same park they had first met exactly four years ago.

He’d been on tour over in the states with his band and she had somehow managed to convince the magazine company she was working for to let her conduct the interview, even though she was only suppose to handle the short story section and sometimes helped out with their advice column.

He had wanted go to somewhere private, but not too private that it’d be uncomfortable or awkward and the park was the first place she thought of. She’d been going there since she was a little kid. It was a good place for her to relax and just think.

They had hit it off from the moment they’d finally met face to face. They spent the entire afternoon together even though she promised the interview would only last an hour at maximum. After running out of questions she was supposed to ask, he asked her about her and then out to get a cup of tea.

Things weren’t always easy for them. He was constantly touring the world and she was now a best-selling young adult author but they made it work. Little time together was better than no time together they realized early on.

Today was actually four years exactly to the day that they had first met but he couldn’t really remember that, could he?

Molli spent the rest of the day cleaning around the house, attempting to write and forcing herself not to call Danny. When it was getting close to time to go, Molli showered and got ready. She chose a simple black dressed, slipped gray cardigan over it with matching flats, took one last look in the mirror and headed out the door.

Molli could not believe him. Pulling into the small parking lot of the park, she cast her eyes around and spotted him sitting on top of one of the benches with what looked like a soon-to-be-picnic all laid out on the ground next to him. He had a guitar in his arms and a smile on his face. He was dressed head to toe in black, like the two of you had planned it.

Molli headed towards him, shaking her head but a grin played on her lips. Danny didn’t get up to meet her, he just stayed where he was and waited until she was only 10 or  so feet away before bringing his hand down and beginning to play…

“Some people laugh and some people cry…” An acoustic version of The Heart Never Lies. Molli froze in her place, immediately mesmerized by him. She watched the way his fingers moved and the way he strummed his pick across the strings. She looked into his eyes as he played without looking and listened to his voice, raw and full of emotion. He was singing into her soul, she could feel it and tears started to well up in her eyes.

“Another year over and we’re still together. It’s not always easy but I’m here forever.” And by now Molli was crying her eyes out. She was sure she was smearing her makeup but she didn’t care. She had never felt more loved in her entire life as she looked at Danny singing to her.

“’Cause the heart never lies,” he finished, trailing off, still staring into Molli’s eyes. His eyes suddenly lit up and he placed his guitar carefully on the bench and hopped off, landing only a foot or so in front of her. “I love you, Molli.” He whispered and reached out to stroke her cheek before falling to one knee and pulling a small box out of his back pocket. “These last four years of my life have been the best and I can’t imagine living one second without you. I guess what I’m trying to get at is, will you marry me?”

Waking Up To The Sound of Your Voice

jericho-trickster:

You blink the sleep out of your eyes, awoken by a soft voice singing,

“Baby I love you. I never want to let you go. The more I think about it, the more I want to let you know that everything you do is super fucking cute and I can’t stand it.”

Looking towards the sound of the voice, you see a gorgeous clear back, blemished only by a few equally beautiful tattoos. His hair was a dirty blonde and he had a serious case of bed head. He also seemed to be wearing nothing other than a pair of simple black boxers.

You sat up slowly, trying not to move the bed as to disturb him. You listened as he played through the rest of the song, the corners of your lips twitching up. “Kendall? What in God’s name are you doing?” you say with a smirk on your face that turns into a full blown laugh as he jumps about 2 feet into the air at hearing your voice.

“Why would you do that?!” he exclaims turning around to face you, his green eyes wide.

“Do what?” you ask innocently but he just glared at you until you lifted an eyebrow at him, prompting him to awnser your question.

“I thought you were sleeping. I know they aren’t really my style of music, but I heard the song on your iPod and thought it was kind of cute and reminded me of you… I was just practicing to be able play it for you one day but I guess that surprise is ruined now.” He wore a slight frown but his cheeks were flushed, apparently embarrassed.

You couldn’t help but giggle at his expression as you reached out for him and said, “Aw, just come here!” and pulled him into your arms, guitar still attached and all. “I liked it. Besides, it really wasn’t the worse thing to wake up to.” You winked at him before placing a chaste kiss on his lips, upside down.

*inspired by something kelsey posted yesterday

I know you’re not normally a Kendall girl, but I hope you liked it anyways!
